Throughout time, Death has tried to overcome his enemy, Life.... After
centuries of plotting his ultimate revenge, Death has taken heroic warriors
from the entire span of humanity's past, present and future, and pitted them
in a ferocious battle in which there can be only one winner. Now these great
champions stand frozen in time, ready to do battle in the ultimate contest
of fighting skill - against Death himself - for lasting immortality. All
the action of the original arcade hit from Strata!
Action yes, but asthetics? No. This is a horrid-looking beat 'em up that somehow manages some nice touches of black humor. Laden with jerky animation and ragged gameplay. Its style reminds me of that old Epyx classic Barbarian, so far as it goes, but most people will take one look at this and then load something better instead. |
