One of a series of games based on the wall-crawling superhero created by Stan Marvel for Marvel Comics. You would think that with all the different programming houses involved, at least one of these games would do justice to the franchise. They don't. The best of the series is only mediocre, and some are downright obnoxious. Spiderman fans will probably have a field day, but the rest of us will get bored fast.

In Spiderman and Venom - Separation Anxiety, Spidey must once again to help Venom fight off his own clones and the people responsible for them - very much like its predecessor, Maximum Carnage,  where you beat people up for twenty or so levels. Unfortuanately the graphics seem to have taken a step backwards in time and as such it makes it difficult to recommend this over Maximum Carnage when the gameplay remains essentially unchanged.
