Abandoning the RPG take of its predecssor, this chapter in the Dune saga
thrusts upon you the momentous task of building up your own strongholds and
resources among the vast desert wastes of the planet Arrakis. No manual is
required, as the programmers thoughtfully included a tutorial mode that tells
you almost everything you need to know in order to play.
No matter where I turn, this game is in the number one slot of EVERYBODY'S list of Genesis strategy games. It has been called the precursor of Command and Conquer, and with good reason (Because it is!). Well written and well executed, this is a game that everybody should try at least once. |
