To activate this cheat wait for the band to start playing on the title screen then press:

A, B, Right, A, C, A, Down, A, B, Right, A

Chuck will smile at you if you did it correctly. To change levels whilst playing press and HOLD A then press Left or Right to change the current stage and Up or Down to change the current level.
