| One of a series of varied arcade games based on the characters created
by cartoonist Matt (Life is Hell) Groenig for the Fox Television Network.The
quality of the games is rather uneven, but that's not surprising considering
that several different software houses were involved. I'd say it's a tossup
between Bart's Nightmare and Virtual Bart in terms of overall excellence,
but I'd also give a nod to Itchy and Scratchy for sheer mayhem.
In Bart v's the Space Mutants Bart is the only person who can save his home town of Springfield from an alien invasion - this is the oldest game in the lineup, and it shows. |
